A firefighter suffered a hand injury battling an apartment fire Friday in Long Beach.
Firefighters sent to the 1300 block of Park Plaza Drive about 12:30 a.m. extinguished the flames in about an hour, the Long Beach Fire Department reported.
The firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment. The severity of the injury was not immediately disclosed. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
