Firefighters put out an attic fire Saturday at a one-story home in North Hills.

Firefighters dispatched at 10:01 a.m. to 9845 N. Noble Ave. knocked down the blaze within 19 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

“Companies inside protected belongings prior to applying water, while firefighters above coordinated their ventilation efforts with fire attack crews below,” said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department. “The coordinated effort minimized damage from water, fire and smoke.”

No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
