Firefighters quickly extinguished a contents fire Saturday inside a home in the Exposition Park area.

The blaze inside a two-story home at 3973 S. Budlong Ave. was reported at 5:21 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.

The department dispatched 26 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the flames in about 15 minutes, Prange said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
