One person was killed Monday in a multi-vehicle crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Monterey Park.
Authorities were called about 2:30 p.m. to the crash near the Atlantic Boulevard off-ramp, said California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
One person, whose name has not been released, died at the scene, she said.
The crash shut down three lanes of the freeway for 2 1/2 hours, triggering a SigAlert, Kravig said.
