Fire ripped through a vacant home in Pacoima Wednesday morning and burned for 43 minutes before being extinguished.

Firefighters responded at 2:10 a.m. to the 11800 block of North Fellows Avenue, near Corcoran Street, and found heavy fire coming from the boarded-up one-story home, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A total of 26 firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, and a knock down was called at 2:53 a.m., he said.

The home had previously burned, Humphrey said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
