A fire damaged an apartment building in the south Los Angeles area Monday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the two-story building in the 400 block of East 41st Street at 11:05 a.m. extinguished the flames in one upstairs unit in 15 minutes, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
