A fire damaged a house in the south Los Angeles area Wednesday, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters sent to the 1600 block of East 32nd Street at 12:01 p.m. extinguished the flames in 14 minutes, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

“The fire appeared to have started on the exterior of the structure and extended inside,” Prange said.

The cause was under investigation.
