Authorities Friday identified an 88-year-old woman who was fatally hit by a vehicle in the Hacienda Heights area.
Genevieve Romo of Hacienda Heights was fatally struck about 1 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of South Hacienda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol.
The circumstances of her death were under investigation.
