Firefighters extinguished a brush fire in North Hollywood Sunday that scorched about an acre of grass.
The blaze at 11560 W. Chandler Blvd. was reported at 3:43 p.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The department dispatched 14 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the flames in about 35 minutes, Prange said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
