Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was found dead in some bushes near an off-ramp from the northbound Corona (71) Freeway in Pomona earlier this week.
Michael Sorenson, 28, was found at about 9 a.m. Monday near the West Holt Avenue off-ramp, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Sorenson’s city of residence and his cause of death were not known.
The off-ramp was closed for several hours while an investigation was conducted, the California Highway Patrol reported.
