A motorcyclist killed in a collision with a Lexus sedan on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Claremont was an Upland resident.
Richard Merced was 28-years-old, according to the coroner’s office.
The crash was reported at 4:18 p.m. Friday at the Baseline Road off-ramp, near the San Bernardino County line, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded to the crash and pronounced Merced dead at the scene.
Paramedics evaluated a second person at the scene but their condition was not known, a fire department official said.
