A lost hiker in Santa Clarita caused a response from fire and law enforcement personnel Sunday.

The hiker was reported lost in Elsmere Canyon at around 2 p.m., Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Bernard Peters reported.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Santa Clarita station were called to search for the hiker along with a fire department helicopter, Peters told the Santa Clarita Signal.

Ground crews found the hiker at around 2:30 p.m. uninjured but exhausted, Peters told the newspaper.
