A fire scorched a residence in the Pearblossom area southeast of Palmdale Wednesday, though no one was injured.
Firefighters were sent to the 13000 block of Knob Hill Road at about 10:15 a.m. on reports of the blaze, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire, which began in the garage and spread to the residence, was knocked down at about 11:55 a.m., according to a fire department spokesperson.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
