One person was killed and another injured Monday in a two-car collision in Mission Hills.
The crash was reported about 5:15 p.m. in the area of 13470 Sepulveda Blvd., near Rinaldi Street and the Eden Memorial Park cemetery, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity was withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
One other person was freed from one of the vehicles and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
