Firefighters Friday knocked down a fire at a detached garage in Pacoima.
The 26 firefighters dispatched at 8:06 a.m. to 13316 W. Corcoran St. had the blaze out within 19 minutes of their arrival, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Crews worked quickly to prevent the fire from extending into the abutted structure,” Stewart said. “No other buildings were damaged.”
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
