The coroner’s office Monday released the name of a 27-year-old man shot to death in Cudahy.
Raul Contreras was a Cudahy resident, the coroner’s office said.
Deputies were called at 2:37 a.m. Saturday to the 4500 block of Clara Street regarding a shots fired call, said Deputy Miguel Meza of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Information Bureau.
The victim, identified as Contreras, was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the upper body and pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information was immediately available.
