A burning commercial building was contained in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday in the Pico-Union neighborhood.
Firefighters responded at 2:28 a.m. to 1667 W. Washington Blvd. where they found heavy fire showing from the roof a one-story,100-by-100-foot commercial building that houses a textile laundry and rental service called American Textile Maintenance, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
Humphrey said it took 82 firefighters 32 minutes to control the blaze.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
