Three people injured in two-car collision in South Los Angeles Wednesday were hospitalized in serious to critical condition.
Four other people were injured in the collision that occurred around 6:40 p.m. near a bus stop in the 400 block of 51st Street near Flower Street, but declined to be taken to a hospital and remained at the scene, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A bus parked at the nearby bus stop was not involved in the collision, Metro told KCAL. There were no passengers on the bus and the driver was not injured, according to the preliminary report from firefighters, KCAL reported.
It’s unclear what may have led up to the traffic collision.
