Officials at the Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center sought the public’s help Thursday to find an 18-year-old woman who went missing from her home in Norwalk.
Stephanie Cortez was last seen in the 13700 block of Lancelot Avenue, according to Lanterman officials.
Cortez is Latina, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 172 pounds, and has black hair and eyes. She speaks English and Spanish.
“She had taken her Dodger Blue shorts and black Air Force sneakers from her closet,” Lanterman officials said in a statement. “She can engage in conversations and walks without support.”
Anyone knowing her whereabouts was urged to call the Lanterman Center at 213-383-1300, or the Norwalk Sheriff’s Station at 562-863-8711.
