A person was found dead Sunday in a tent along the 91 Freeway in Compton.
The discovery at 17600 Santa Fe Ave. was made around 1:45 p.m. Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The cause of death was not immediately known.
No information about the gender and age of the deceased has so far been released. The identification was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
