A 32-year-old man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the westbound Ventura (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills before sunrise Wednesday.

California Highway Patrol officers were called at 3:52 a.m. to the freeway near the Canoga Avenue off-ramp, where they found the wreckage of the vehicles, according to the CHP.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later identified the man as Dustin Perdomo, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The CHP issued a SigAlert for the closure of all westbound lanes of the freeway in the vicinity of the collision while officers investigated the cause of the collision. One lane was reopened about 5:30 a.m., the CHP reported.
