A 54-year-old man who was shot to death in the parking lot of a strip mall in Glendale was identified Friday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

Officers responded to the 800 block of North Pacific Avenue, near the Ventura (134) Freeway, at about 8:45 a.m. Thursday, where they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Glendale Police Department. He died at the scene.

The medical examiner later identified the man as Robert Dehnoushi.

According to KTLA 5, witnesses said the shooter was outside the strip mall sitting on a motorcycle and waiting for the victim before opening fire.

No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was released.

“Detectives were at the scene shortly after the shooting and are actively investigating this incident as a homicide,” police said in a statement.
