A 26-year-old woman killed when a dark-colored sedan struck a center median, triggering a multi-vehicle crash on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in North Hollywood was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The crash occurred at about 4:55 a.m. Sunday on the northbound freeway at the Vineland Avenue off-ramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Paramedics were dispatched to the location at 4:56 a.m. but did not transport anyone to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A representative from the medical examiner’s office was called to the scene at 5:22 a.m.
The victim was identified Monday as Analee Rodriguez.
The CHP issued a Sigalert at 5:08 a.m. Sunday closing the northbound lanes of the freeway for an unknown duration.
