One person was killed Saturday and another person was rushed to a hospital from a solo-vehicle crash in Santa Clarita.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to Bouquet Canyon and Spunky Canyon roads at about 2:20 a.m., where they learned a gray two-door BMW slammed into a tree, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
One person was found lying in the roadway and pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
Paramedics rushed another person to a hospital, according to the CHP.
The roadway was cleared at 5:37 a.m.
