A motorcycle rider was found dead Sunday on Ortega (74) Highway near the El Cariso Campground in the Cleveland National Forest.
The rider was found under a guardrail at 4:19 p.m. Sunday in the 30700 block of Ortega Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle was found about 150 feet over the side of the road, the CHP said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
