A fire in a one-story row of commercial buildings in South Los Angeles was extinguished in 17 minutes, authorities said Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to 1458 W. Slauson Ave., between Western and Normandie avenues, at 11:27 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found flames coming from one of the building’s units, quickly extinguished the flames and contained the fire to the original unit, LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
No injuries were reported.
