The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged Monday at $4.601, ending a streak of nine increases in 10 days.
The average price is 2.4 cents more than one week ago, but 1 cent less than one month ago and $1.21 less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.893 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose seven-tenths of a cent to $4.541, a day after rising two-tenths of a cent. It is 1.4 cents more than one week ago, one-tenth of a cent more than one month ago and $1.07 less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.918 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.203, ending three consecutive days of drops.
It is 2.9 cents more than one week ago, but 1.4 cents less than one month ago and 40.6 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.813 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
