The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent Monday to $4.548, a day after dropping for the 11th time in the last 12 days, dipping three-tenths of a cent.
The average price has dropped 6.3 cents over the past 13 days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 3.1 cents less than one week ago, 1 cent less than one month ago and 87.3 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.946 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose seven-tenths of cent to $4.474, a day after it was unchanged, breaking a streak of 11 consecutive increases. It is 2.7 cents less than one week ago, 1.4 cents less than one month ago and 74.9 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.985 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price was unchanged at $3.13, a day after dropping six-tenths of a cent.
It is 4.5 cents less than one week ago, 9 cents less than a month ago and 37.3 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.886 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
