An Ebony Alert was issued Tuesday for a 23-year-old woman who was last seen in the Koreatown area.
Jahnay Bryan was last seen near the intersection of West Eight Street and Vermont Avenue on Oct. 10 around 9 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Bryan was described as a 5-foot-7-inch tall woman weighing 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. It’s unclear what she was last seen wearing, but CHP officials believe Bryan is traveling on foot.
Anyone with information regarding Bryan’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The law creating the Ebony Alert went into effect on New Year’s Day. It covers Black children, teenagers, and young adults 12 to 25 years old who are reported missing under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or those who are at-risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired, or who have been abducted.
