Lottery players have a shot at another huge jackpot Tuesday evening, with $760 million up for grabs in the multi-state Mega Millions game.
Tuesday’s drawing will take place at 8 p.m. Tickets sold after 7:50 p.m. are ineligible for that night’s draw, but are eligible for the following draw.
No tickets were sold matching all six numbers on Friday, the 27th drawing since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday.
A ticket matching five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold at OK Liquor on 301 E. South St. in Long Beach. That ticket was worth $359,992, the California Lottery announced.
The numbers drawn Friday were 36, 43, 52, 58, 65 and the Mega number was 16. The estimated jackpot was $695 million.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number are 1 in 302,575,350, according to the California Lottery. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.
The Mega Millions game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
