The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent Wednesday to $4.37, a day after dropping a half-cent.

The average price dropped 7.7 cents over the past 16 days, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 2.6 cents less than one week ago, 9.9 cents lower than one month ago and 35.8 cents below what it was one year ago.

The average price has dropped $2.124 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $4.29, a day after dropping a half-cent.

The Orange County average price is 3.1 cents less than one week ago, 8.1 cents lower than one month ago and 27.3 cents below what it was one year ago. It has dropped $2.169 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price rose for the third day in a row, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.034, a day after rising six-tenths of a cent. It is 1.4 cents more than one week ago, but 3.7 cents less than one month ago and 3.2 cents lower than one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.982 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
