The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose seven-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $4.403, a day after rising a half-cent and its fourth straight increase after dropping to its lowest amount since July 28, 2021.

The average price is 3 cents more than one week ago, but 5.7 cents less than one month ago and 30.7 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.091 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose seven-tenths of a cent to $4.342, a day after rising seven-tenths of a cent. It is 5.1 cents more than one week ago, but 4.5 cents less than one month ago and 24.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $2.117 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price of a gallon of self-service regular gasoline dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.041, a day after it was unchanged. It is 1.1 cents less than one week ago, 1.5 cents less than one month ago and 8.6 cents less than one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.975 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
