A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle on a South Los Angeles freeway Sunday.
The crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. Sunday in the express lane of the Harbor (110) Freeway near West Slauson Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Sigalert was issued soon after, closing the lane.
It was unclear what the person was doing on the freeway. A description of the person was not disclosed.
