A 90-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday in the unincorporated East San Gabriel area of Los Angeles County.
The crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the 9000 block of Southview Road near Jackson Place, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian was identified as Qingyu Liu, according to the Medical Examiner’s office. His place of death was listed as a driveway. His city of residence was not provided.
An investigation was underway, the CHP stated.
