One person was injured in a three-vehicle collision Wednesday evening on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Arleta that prompted the issuance of a SigAlert.
Three vehicles collided around 9:18 p.m. Wednesday on the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway just north of the Hollywood (170) Freeway, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said.
The 1-5 lanes were closed and a SigAlert was issued by CHP at 10:12 p.m. The SigAlert was still in effect as of 10:40 p.m.
The injured person had not been taken to a hospital as of 10:35 p.m., the CHP said.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
