Officials Tuesday lifted a request for water conservation after repairs were completed on a water main that broke in Pacific Palisades.
Malibu officials issued a plea for residents citywide to limit water use while repairs were made.
The leak on the water line serving Malibu and Topanga Canyon near 16300 block of Pacific Coast Highway, north of Temescal Canyon Road, was reported on Thursday.
Malibu officials urged residents to conserve water, avoid outdoor water use and turn off automatic sprinklers.
“Waterworks District 29 reports that the water conservation request for all customers, including all of Malibu, has been lifted,” Malibu officials said in a social media post on Tuesday. “Resume normal indoor and outdoor water use.”
The leak repair was completed and WWD29 notified all customers directly and thanked them for conserving water to preserve water service stability during the repairs.
