The 16-year-old niece of Basketball Hall of Famer Reggie Miller returned home Monday night after being reported missing, her family announced.
Daryl Miller Jr. declined to say where his sister Nikki was found, but said she was “fine and safe.”
He said her family was still talking with her and said it was possible the family would have to say at a later time.
Reggie Miller sent out a flier via Twitter which said that Nikki Miller had last been seen at the family home near Travis Ranch School in Yorba Linda.
Nikki Miller apparently ran away from home, a source knowledgeable of the situation told City News Service before her return was announced.
Nikki Miller is the daughter of former Angels catcher and outfielder Darrell Miller.
“Thank you to everyone who sent prayers n thoughts, they were answered,” Reggie Miller wrote on Twitter in his announcement about his niece’s return.
