A U.S. Bank branch was held up Wednesday by a gun-wielding robber, who jumped over a counter to grab cash, police said.
The robbery at 12112 Valley View St. happened just before 1:40 p.m., according to Garden Grove police Lt. Ben Stauffer.
The robber demanding cash at gunpoint, then jumped over a counter and started grabbing cash and ordering another teller to fetch more money, Stauffer said. The suspect grabbed the cash from the second teller and ran out of the bank, the lieutenant added.
The 20-something suspect was described as being of Asian descent, wearing a white T-shirt with black sleeves and a baseball cap.
Anyone with more information about the robbery was asked to call police at (714) 741-5704.
