A 32-year-old Garden Grove man faces charges of sexually assaulting two women he met through the online classified ad service Craigslist, Orange County prosecutors announced Thursday.
Blaise Ryan Christie allegedly placed the ads in September or October and met a 24-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman through the service, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
Christie had consensual sex with the women on separate occasions, but during the encounters he allegedly forced them to have anal sex, according to prosecutors.
Investigators suspect there may be more alleged victims and asked anyone with information to call Detective Steve Heine at (714) 741-5422 or Supervising District Attorney Investigator Kelly Core at (714) 347-8794.
Christie, who was being held on $1 million bail, was scheduled to be arraigned Dec. 3 on two felony counts of sodomy by force with sentencing enhancement allegations for committing the specified offense against more than one victim.
Christie could face up to 30 years to life in prison.
