Costa Mesa police sought a bank robbery who held up a Citibank branch Wednesday.
The robbery at 234 E. 17th St. happened about 11:45 a.m., Costa Mesa police Lt. Greg Scott said.
The thin white man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, passed a demand note to a teller, stuffed some cash handed to him in a pocket and ran out of the back of the bank, Scott said.
He did not show weapon or say he had one, Scott said.
The robber wore frameless, prescription glasses, a white-and-gray baseball cap, a light-blue button-down shirt, baggy black shorts, white socks and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with more information was asked to call detectives at (714) 754- 5205.
