A 40-year-old man was behind bars Wednesday on suspicion of engaging in a sex act in Fountain Valley with an underage boy he met through a website, police reported.
Shane Atilano Remollo of Huntington Beach was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, according to Orange County jail records. He listed his occupation as bank teller.
Just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, police checked on an occupied car at 8675 Bluebird Ave. at Harper Park and found Remollo inside the vehicle with the alleged victim, whose age was not released, according to Fountain Valley police Sgt. Ron Varner.
Investigators suspect the two met through a website called Grindr and arranged to meet at the park, according to Varner, who said Romollo is accused of performing oral sex on the boy.
Romollo was booked on suspicion of oral copulation with a minor and solicitation of a minor, Varner said.
