A blaze broke out Monday afternoon at a recycling center in Santa Ana.
The fire in a building of the recycling center at Sixth and Poinsettia streets was reported just after 3:45 p.m. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
When crews arrived, they encountered “a lot of fire and they took a defensive approach to it” initially, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Hurdle.
