The Happiest Place On Earth may bring joy to children, but it will come at a cost: the Disneyland admission price went up overnight, to $99 per adult.

Add on “hopper” privileges to cross between Disneyland and the adjacent gate, at California Adventure, and an adult will be out a total of 155 Disney dollars for a day of joy.

The price hikes don’t spare high rollers, either. Annual passes to visit Goofy, with parking but without blackout dates, just went up $80: from $699 to $779 per year of fun.

The price hikes were first reported in the Orange County Register.

Disney has increased its gate prices by about five percent each year in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, the Los Angeles Times reported. Last May, the tickets went up $2, to $96.

In its latest quarterly report, the Walt Disney Company reported its “free cash flow” was $857 million, up 55 percent from the same quarter the year before. Disney is the parent company of the theme parks, its studios and media empire, including ABC7 in Los Angeles.
