A house fire in Orange early Thursday left three residents homeless and killed their cat.
The blaze in the 2100 block of East Parkside Avenue started just before 12:40 a.m., according to Capt. Casey Fieldhouse of the Orange Fire Department.
The fire, which gutted the home, took about 30 firefighters 40 minutes to get under control, he said.
The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental and due to some sort of electrical problem, Fieldhouse said.
