More than 30 vehicles were damaged by pellet gun-wielding vandals in Costa Mesa Tuesday, police said.
Police were called about 3:30 a.m. to the 2000 block of Flamingo Drive and the 1900 block of Pelican Place to investigate reports of vandals shooting out the windows of parked vehicles, Costa Mesa police Lt. Greg Scott said.
A total of 33 vehicles, which were parked in the city’s bird-tract residential area, had windows shot out by the vandals, Scott said.
Anyone with information that would be helpful in helping investigators track down the perpetrators was asked to call detectives at (714) 754-5637.
