Authorities asked the public’s help Wednesday to track down an 18-year-old Fullerton College student last seen Monday morning when his mother dropped him off to sign up for classes.
Marcos Loudon of La Habra was dropped off at the campus about 7 a.m. Monday, with plans for his mother to pick him up at 6 p.m., according to La Habra police Sgt. Jose Quirarte.
Loudon was scheduled to meet with a counselor on campus at 7:30 a.m. but did not show up for his appointment. He also failed to show up for football practice at 2 that afternoon, Quirarte said.
Loudon has “no medical issues, no emotional issues, according to his family,” Quirarte said. “He has not done this before — that’s why his mom reported him missing (at 8:30 p.m.) because this is very unusual for him to do.”
Loudon does not have a car and had only a few dollars on him for lunch, according to his mother, who said her son forgot his cell phone at home.
Loudon was described as white, about 5 foot 10 and 185 pounds, with an athletic build, short black hair, brown eyes and a mustache. When he was dropped off at school Monday, he was wearing a gray T-shirt, blue gym shorts and blue athletic shoes.
Anyone with information on Loudon’s whereabouts was asked to call police at (562) 383-4300.
