
A young man was fatally stabbed during a fight inside a Santa Ana nightclub, and police Friday sought public help to find his killer.
The stabbing occurred about 10:35 p.m. Thursday at DTSA Underground, 220 E. Third Street, the Santa Ana Police Department reported. The 23-year-old man died at a hospital.
His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
“The (man) was inside the venue, listening to punk music, when an altercation ensued and the suspect stabbed the victim in the upper torso,” according to a police statement. The wounded man went outside and collapsed on the street.
The suspect was described as Hispanic, in his 20s and 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a black shirt.
