The Orange County Transportation Authority board Monday approved nearly $20 million in grants for bike trails and walkways throughout the county.
The $19.5 million will be allocated to 13 projects, courtesy of the federal Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program.
The projects receiving grants are in Fullerton, Dana Point, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Anaheim and Tustin, as well as the Orange County parks system.
Matching funds raised the total allocation for the projects to $22.2 million.
