A multi-vehicle collision on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Irvine left at least one person dead, the California Highway Patrol reported Tuesday.
All northbound lanes of the freeway at Jamboree Road remain closed this morning as officers investigate the collision that occurred around 10:45 p.m. Monday.
At least five vehicles were involved, several of which were on fire when rescuers arrived, according to CBS2.
