
A magnitude 3.0 earthquake shook up parts of northern Orange County early Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The quake struck at 12:17 a.m. at a depth of about 1.9 miles, its epicenter 1 mile northeast of Placentia and 1 mile west-northwest of Yorba Linda, according to a computer-generated USGS report.
There were no reports of damages or injuries.
